BMW, (Bavarian Motor Works) A German automobile maker. Which is famous for there high end luxury vehicles. From Cars to Bike they are best in class. I love BMW cars, specially M (Motorsports) series. BMW is using EfficientDynamics technology in there vehicles to get most from there cars in less power.
I recently visited there website BMW.com. I just opened the site and my cell starts ringing. I pick up the call and BMW site was opened on the screen.
About after one minute the screen goes dark and BMW EfficientDynamics mode was switched ON.
As you must know that black color on screen saves the power consumption …

India’s third largest mobile company in terms of subscribers, has tied up with Finnish cellphone major Nokia for bundling 3G handsets along with its services. Nokia India has partnered BSNL in bringing to Indian consumers 3G services on a host of Nokia devices. According to the BSNL and Nokia tie-up, the Nokia handsets including Nokia 3120Classic, Nokia 5320, Nokia N79, Nokia N81, Nokia E71 and the Nokia 5800Xpress Music, will be offered to the BSNL subscribers (opting for 3G services), bundled with BSNL 3G services. BSNL will offer various price plans for these 3G bundled Nokia devices, including talktime and data packages. According to the sources from BSNL, the company has gained 8,000-10,000 3G subscribers since the launch of the services. But on the contrary market reports say that BSNL has not more than 2,000 customers over 24 cities. After release of Ubuntu 8.10 now Canonical launched the latest and new version of Ubuntu Linux. The new version is 9.04 and have codename as “Jaunty Jackalope”. This new version of Ubuntu is released on 23rd of April 2009. Means just 4 days ago.
This new version is released after 1year of last release which was 8.04, this new released do not contain any special changes like the previous one. But this time they released a special version for Notebook users, called “Ubuntu 9.04 Netbook Remix” which is specially tested on few branded know laptops.
I was just shocked that Ubuntu is preferring the users to use the older version and its support is more than the newer version. !! I don’t know why, but its strange.Same case is with the server edition of Ubuntu, the older version 8.04 is support until 2013 and the newer 9.04 if support until 2010.
According to Matt Cutts - The Google engineer, the new ubuntu 9.04 boots in just 7.83 sec !! Now its time to check it on my system which is not as high powered as the Matt’s system.
But still as always Ubuntu is free to download and it really rocks with its amazing graphics and amazing features. I am still using Ubuntu in my laptop.
